Why we built it

Built by traders who lived the pain

Apollo was built inside a working trading house. Cocoa, coffee. We did not research the problem.
We had it.

Most physical desks still run on systems built before the cloud. They are solid, and they are expensive to feed. We built the thing we wanted, then opened it to the market.

Landed weights, then the final invoice

We track the ETA of each BL, request the net landed weight once the cargo has landed, and send the final invoice when it comes back.
01ETA tracked
Every BL is followed until the cargo lands.
02Weight requested
The request for the net landed weight goes out on its own.
03Final invoice sent
As soon as the client sends the weight back.
No cargo forgotten after discharge. The final invoice leaves the day the weight arrives.

Apollo
ApolloChecked the market and the supplier
The market is £1,200 per MT above their price. Delivering the 500 MT now would cost them £600,000. We think this supplier has a risk of default.

How we work

Start with a test

We do not quote a go live date before we have seen your book. We prove it on your own contracts first, then we agree the calendar together.
Step one
Introduction
1 call
  • We listen to how you trade
  • We show the platform on your commodity
  • No data leaves your side unprotected
You receive
A mutual NDA, signed before anything is shared
Step two
Discovery
2 weeks
  • Four sessions, mapping how you trade
  • Data to migrate, systems to keep
  • Integration points identified
You receive
A written scope, priced, with what is in and what is out
Step three
Validation
2 weeks
  • You bring a sample of real contracts
  • We load them and configure your setup
  • You judge on your data, not on a demo
You receive
A test report on your own book, every difference explained
Step four
Implementation
6 to 10 weeks
  • Migration, configuration, integrations
  • Your current process keeps running
  • Switched over when the numbers agree
You receive
A daily reconciliation, then a signed acceptance certificate
Step five
Run
continuous
  • We stay alongside the desk
  • Adoption reviewed at 30 days
  • Value measured at 90 days
You receive
A measured value review, in your numbers
Six to twelve weeks from signature to go live. Confirmed in writing after the scoping, never before. One business day response, by the people who built the system.
